Kaz grew up in the small town of Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia affectionately referred to as “The Gong”. Living a relatively quiet life, Kaz worked part-time as a model throughout her teenage years, but for a gorgeous 26-year-old girl, she ran constant side hustles in hospitality for local pubs, clubs, and restaurants. Her life revolved around music, the beach, and nature's doorstep, where she would often enjoy downtime amongst family and close friends. In the ’80s The Gong became the hub of the Australian rock n roll scene, hosting bands like AC/DC, the Angels, INXS, Little River Band, Cold Chisel, Moving Pictures, and Midnight Oil. During regular trips to Sydney, about two hours drive away, Kaz would get to experience the latest international acts live. It was at this moment her story truly began. Kaz’s story of sex, drugs, and rock n roll may not be uncommon amongst musicians, but the importance of muses (particularly female ones) can’t be denied. Through her story, Kaz can unpack the emotions she’s kept locked away for so long, and her goal is to make an impact on readers with similar experiences. Now sixty-two, Kaz is a newly published author who lives in Northern Queensland and runs a busy transport company with her husband Glenn. She is a survivor, determined to give people the courage to tell their own stories.
